You’re Not Going Mad

They’re Losing the Narrative – We’re Winning!

This morning I sat with a coffee, watching the BBC talk about Glastonbury. Not the music. Not the festival. But the “backlash” against Bob Vylan for chanting “Death, death to the IDF.”

And they weren’t just reporting it — they were condemning it.
The BBC said they should’ve pulled the livestream.
Glastonbury released a statement saying there’s “no space for antisemitism” on their stages.
And the government — while pretending they couldn’t comment because it’s now under police investigation — made damn sure to remind everyone that they “do not tolerate antisemitism in any form.”

But here’s the thing.
That chant wasn’t antisemitic.
And you’re not going mad.

Let’s be real: “Death to the IDF” is not antisemitic

The IDF — the Israel Defense Forces — is a military institution. A state-backed armed force.

It’s not a religion.
It’s not a race.
It’s not a culture.
It’s not sacred.

It’s a military organisation that has:

  • Leveled entire neighbourhoods
  •
  • Starved children to death
  •
  • Dropped bombs on tents, schools, and hospitals
  •
  • Gunned down people carrying flour
  •
  • Shot children in the head — literally — with sniper rifles

And yet, if you criticise them, apparently you’re attacking Judaism itself?

Give me a break.

If shouting “Death to ISIS” or “Death to al-Qaeda” isn’t Islamophobic, then how the hell is “Death to the IDF” antisemitic?

It’s not.
And they know it.
They’re just weaponising the word.

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is also not antisemitic

That phrase — chanted by people from Palestine to Peckham — is about freedom and equal rights across the region. From the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

It’s not a call for genocide.
It’s not a threat to Jews.
It’s a demand that Palestinians should live free — with the same rights as everyone else.

But freedom terrifies the people who build their power on walls, prisons, and checkpoints.
So they twist the words.
They smear it.
They claim it’s hate speech.

Because they can’t afford to let people hear what it really means.

What they’re doing is actually antisemitic

Zionists — not Jews, but Zionists — use Judaism as a shield. They wrap their crimes in a tallit, then scream antisemitism at anyone who points out the blood dripping underneath.

They are making Jews less safe by doing this.
They are dragging an entire people into the dock to cover for the crimes of a state.

That is antisemitism.
And they’re doing it in real time.

Not all Jews are Zionists. I know — I’ve marched with thousands.
  And most Zionists aren’t even Jewish. That’s not a slogan — it’s a fact.

According to repeated polling by Pew Research, Gallup, and Jewish community studies:

  • Only a minority of Jews worldwide identify strongly with Zionism, especially younger Jews.
  •
  • Meanwhile, millions of Christian Zionists — particularly in the U.S. — make up the largest and most politically influential base of support for Israel globally.
  •
  • Groups like CUFI (Christians United for Israel) and think tanks like the Henry Jackson Society have nothing to do with Judaism — and everything to do with imperialism, arms deals, and end-times theology.

So when they say “criticism of Israel is antisemitic,” what they’re really doing is criminalising dissent — and weaponising a religion to do it.

The government doesn’t want this conversation

They don’t want you talking about the massacre of aid workers.
They don’t want you watching the videos of teenagers carrying tents, bombed mid-step.
They don’t want to admit that the IDF — this “diverse”, “progressive”, “liberal” army — is literally carrying out genocide against a starving, traumatised, occupied population.

So they change the subject.

They call it antisemitism.
They criminalise protest.
They call for police investigations.
They threaten artists.
They cancel stages.

Because if you’re talking about tone, you’re not talking about war crimes.

You’re not the problem. You’re the one seeing clearly.

You’re not mad. You’re awake.

You’re watching a genocide unfold in real time — and you’re not looking away. You’re pointing at it. You’re talking about it. You’re trying to make people care. That’s the real threat to the system.

Because if enough of us see it for what it is, the lies won’t hold.

So don’t let them gaslight you. Don’t let them bully you into silence.
Keep speaking.

They’re losing the narrative is all – We’re winning!

Keep chanting. Keep standing. Because you’re not wrong — and you’re not alone.
