The Atrocity Propaganda of a War Criminal State

In the immediate aftermath of October 7th, Israel launched a global media blitz claiming that Hamas had committed mass rapes. These stories were splashed across front pages and amplified by Western officials before any verification. But when UN agencies, journalists, and human rights investigators tried to corroborate the claims, they were met with silence. No names. No testimony. No evidence. Nothing.

While it is true the UN found “reasonable grounds” and “clear and convincing information” that Hamas committed rape and sexualized torture during the October 7th attacks, it did not manage to interview a single indentifyable victim, and it could not legally verify any cases beyond reasonable doubt

 

Meanwhile, the actual, well-documented cases of rape and sexual violence during this war have been overwhelmingly committed by Israeli forces—against Palestinians.

 

Let that sink in.

 

At Sde Teiman, an Israeli detention camp, Palestinian detainees have described in excruciating detail how they were raped by soldiers—and in at least one case, raped using dogs. These are not internet rumors. These are testimonies gathered by Al Jazeera, Human Rights Watch, UN-appointed commissions, and Israeli human rights groups. Outlets like The Guardian, Reuters, and Le Monde have all reported on these horrors.

 

In some cases, detainees were filmed while being tortured. Their genitals were electrocuted. Women were stripped naked and beaten. Teenage boys were raped. Some were forced to bark like dogs. Others were made to watch. This isn’t wartime chaos. This is systemic.

 

And it’s not just about a few rogue soldiers. The UN Commission of Inquiry declared in June 2024 that these acts were widespread, organized, and amounted to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

 

Contrast that with Israel’s claims against Hamas. Western media echoed stories of babies beheaded, women gang-raped, and children burned alive—claims which later evaporated under scrutiny. Even Israeli officials quietly admitted many of them were unverified. One woman, an IDF soldier taken hostage, said Hamas fighters “raped them with their eyes.” She was later released—and raped by an Israeli soldier.

 

That one detail says everything.

 

The propaganda machine accuses others of what it does itself. It projects. It distorts. Every allegation is a confession. The IDF accuses others of raping and murdering, while their own soldiers are on trial for doing just that.

 

This isn’t just hypocrisy. It’s projection weaponized for genocide.

 

And Western governments? They’ve been complicit. Not just with weapons and bombs, but with the narrative. Every time a leader repeats Israel’s talking points without scrutiny, they amplify lies—and erase the voices of Palestinian victims.

 

If you ever wondered how fascism markets itself, this is how. It shouts about evil, invents cartoon villains, and then commits atrocities in the name of fighting them.

 

We need to say it plainly:

 

   
• Israeli soldiers are raping detainees.
   
• Israeli dogs are being used as weapons of sexual torture.
   
• Israel lied about Hamas to justify genocide.
 

 

History will record who told the truth. And who enabled monsters.

The witness, in Arabic, states plainly: “The dog raped the young man… it raped him, literally speaking.” This account aligns with multiple reports from Al Jazeera’s investigation, the UN, and numerous human rights groups.

 

This isn’t an isolated accusation—it’s part of a growing body of evidence. Palestinian detainees have reported gang rapes, sexual torture, and forced humiliation at the hands of Israeli soldiers. But this moment, captured in plain language on video, tears away any last shred of plausible deniability.

 

Israel didn’t just commit war crimes. It projected them. While it flooded Western media with stories of Hamas rapists—unverified, unsupported, and now largely discredited—it was hiding crimes like this: rape by dog. Committed not in the chaos of battle, but in the cold, calculated environment of detention.

 

The question isn’t whether the world will believe this. The question is whether it will dare to look.
