The Point of No Return

Israel Has Crossed the Line. Will the West?

By Gordon Dimmack

This morning’s news marked a turning point — not just for Gaza, but for every Western democracy still pretending to stand on the right side of history.

The Israeli government has now formally approved a plan to occupy Gaza City, replace all existing Palestinian governance, and assert permanent security control over the Strip. According to their own Cabinet summary, this new regime will be neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority — it will be something entirely under Israel’s thumb.

In other words, the plan is colonisation, dressed up as “administration.” The goal isn’t peace, security, or even the return of hostages. The goal is total control — the next phase of the Greater Israel project, executed in broad daylight with the world watching.

And now we wait to see what the UK — and the rest of the West — does with that information.

Because this is the point of no return.

No More Excuses

For months, Western governments have tried to play both sides. They’ve issued vague statements, called for restraint, talked about “a long-term solution.” Some even froze funding to UNRWA while continuing to approve weapons exports.

That political gymnastics act is no longer viable.

This is not a grey area. It’s not a matter of interpretation. It’s not a foreign policy “challenge.” Israel is now openly planning to govern over a captive population with no rights, no sovereignty, and no say in their own future.

That is the textbook definition of apartheid — and in this case, it is apartheid enforced through genocide.

If our government still backs this — after this — then we need to accept something very sobering:

They are not being misled. They are not confused. They are complicit.

A Last Opportunity to Change Course

But here’s the truth that still holds weight: they haven’t crossed the threshold yet. Not fully.

If the UK acts now — if it begins sanctioning Israel, expels its ambassador, halts arms exports, and joins global efforts to isolate the apartheid regime diplomatically — then there is a chance it can still avoid going down with it.

There is a chance this government can still say: we stopped when it became undeniable. We drew the line. We chose to preserve international law, and our own integrity, rather than follow this regime off a cliff.

But that window is closing. And if they let it shut, there is no walking it back.

History Will Conduct an Autopsy

Israel is not securing its future through this. It is doing the opposite. Its international standing is collapsing. The boycotts are growing. The economy is beginning to contract. Diplomatic cover is thinning. And now, its own people are fleeing — not metaphorically, but literally.

Tourism has flatlined. The lifeblood of Tel Aviv’s economy — gone. The airlines are half-empty. Birthright trips are being cancelled. International artists won’t perform there. Travel warnings are stacking up from once-friendly governments. Economic pressure is being applied by the Hague Group and other group. No one wants to visit an apartheid state that’s carpet-bombing civilians on the evening news.

And what about the people leaving?

We’ve all seen the footage — Israelis relocating to Europe, to America, to anywhere they can — only to find themselves met with suspicion, visa problems, and in some cases outright hostility. Their presence is no longer met with open arms. They’re being treated like criminals — not because they’re Jewish, but because they come from a rogue state that’s dragging Jewish people into the mud of genocide.

Even Israelis holidaying on cruise ships aren’t welcome.

And that raises a very simple question:
If no one wants to go there, and no one welcomes them here, what future does this project have?

Because colonial projects rely on one thing above all: immigration. If people stop moving into the colony — if they start trying to get out — then the game is already over. And that’s what we’re watching now.

This is not just the collapse of Israel’s international reputation. It’s not even just the collapse of its political project.

This is the exodus.
This is the end.
Just as I’ve been writing about for months.

The Lies They Told

How many times has Israel lied to us in the past two years alone?

The al-Ahli hospital bombing? Blamed on a misfired Palestinian rocket — until footage and analysis told a very different story.

The bakery that was “a Hamas depot”? Total fiction.

The aid convoys “used as cover”? Disproven, over and over.

The infamous “Hamas command centres under hospitals”? Nothing but CGI, mock-ups, and military theatre.

But the two most grotesque lies of all?

  • The “40 beheaded babies” — a claim repeated by global leaders and headline news outlets. No names. No photos. No bodies. No evidence. Just a blood libel designed to trigger blind vengeance.
  • The “mass rapes by Hamas” — pushed relentlessly, repeated in Parliament, and splashed across newspaper covers. Except the forensic evidence never came. The investigations turned up silence. And the claims fell apart under even the slightest scrutiny.

And yet the damage was done. The images were burned into public consciousness. Israel got its licence to kill — and the West cheered it on.

And the Media Sold It

These weren’t just intelligence failures. They were deliberate, coordinated deceptions — designed to make genocide palatable.

And the media didn’t just fall for it.
They sold it.

So if they carry on from here — if they still repeat Israeli talking points unchallenged, if they still claim “both sides” after the world has watched the aid drops being bombed and the starvation maps being updated in real time — then the journalists become defendants.

Because you don’t get to amplify lies that lead to genocide and then pretend you were just doing your job.
Not this time.

So Why Are They Still Going Along With It?

If the UK, the US, or any so-called Western democracy still goes along with this — after everything — then the only conclusion left is that they’re being blackmailed.
Because no moral government — no halfway decent human being — would back this carnage unless they were being forced to.

Maybe it’s kompromat. Maybe it’s deals in the dark. Maybe it’s the quiet threat of the Samson Option — Israel’s nuclear “doomsday” doctrine. Maybe it’s something worse. But let’s stop pretending this is about diplomacy or alliances or “shared values.”

This is not normal behaviour. This is not politics as usual. This is aiding and abetting genocide on live TV.

And the people doing it know exactly what they’re involved in.

They are up to their necks in the worst crimes of our lifetime — and if they still go along with it from this moment on, they are not just guilty…

They are damned.

Final Line in the Sand

This is the line.
This is the threshold.
This is the point of no return.

If the UK continues to shield Israel after this — if it still pretends this is about “security” or “fighting terror” or “stability in the region” — then there really is no hope left for our foreign policy establishment.

Because when you stand by during a genocide — one that’s being livestreamed, documented, geolocated, and timestamped in real-time — and do nothing to stop it, you are no longer a democracy defending international law.

You are just another rogue state — with better PR.
